Starting as a visual effects artist at 19, Dulanka became a creative director in 2018. His award-winning short film "Children of White" and "Children of White" won the "Best Short Film" award at the Singapore South Asian Film Festival in 2018 and the Jaffna International Cinema Festival 2018, held in Sri Lanka.

Currently, he's working on his debut feature film, "Memoria," which explores social issues in Sri Lanka.
